31 Doodles of Halloween | Day 18 | The Peanuts
Sorry this is a bit late.
I like the Peanuts a bunch. A lot of people do. Many cartoonists make reference to the cartoon at least once. It’s a part of every holiday special marathon, and most people’s childhoods. Very much so mine. Not only did I like the cartoon, I went to the indoor theme park it had for a while before they turned it into Nickelodeon Universe. I was born and grew up in MN, where the creator of the Peanuts is from. In the Twin Citites there are large statues of the Peanuts characters on several street corners. It’s pretty cool.

I’ve given up trying to correct people.

FUCK YES

I always use the phrase, “Murdered seven different ways from Sunday”, when people try to pronounce my last name.

I have a fairly regular name: Daisy, but I live in France where everyone goes: Desiree? Dazie? Daghjdskgjc?

It’s unbelievable how many ways people can fuck up the name Jerome.  Also it’s Curtin not Curtain.

How does anyone fuck up saying or spelling Abby like wtf

Fucking both. I understand my first name, since it’s not spelt like usual, “Katlynne”
But seriously? My last name? DO ne gAN?? No it’s said like it’s spelt, DON E GAN for fucks sake.

My legit first name is, in fact, Danielle [for the love of god, do NOT call me by my first name. Ever. Call me Bunny.] and NO ONE can seen to get it right. It’s been spelled:
Daniel [no]
Dannelle [closer]
Dannyell [i hate you]
Danniel [wat]
And, of course, Danyel.
I gave up.

Jizwacki, Jozwiak, Jazwoczski, Smith…

My first name is a typo. It’s only supposed to have one ‘n’ but it has two instead. And my shortened nickname is also a typo. Anni. People always add an ‘e’ at the end even after I tell them not to.
Now those I could understand getting those wrong, they’re misspelled in the first place. But my last name?
Greeman. GREEMAN. People always misspell it GreeNman, or Freeman. They will always pronounce it GreeNman until I’ve corrected them at least three times. >:I It’s not even that hard people…
